Title found! You can read the text now...

Well she got a little rest last night - not a lot because of nurse confusion over when to put on the CPAP but she seems to be doing fine under the circumstances. It is still less than a day out of surgery and the first day is the worst, so there are signs of recovery getting progressively better.
World-renowned Neurosurgeons caring for my wife!
She had a CT scan this morning to check the incision point and everything looks good. She is at this moment off for an MRI to check for tumor remains, which is really bad because the machines out here are smaller than Chicago so it make a major claustrophobic situation catastrophic. Fortunately they say it will be shorter time span that past MRIs, but she is still greatly nervous about it and said she would rather have surgery again!

The real good news is of course no cancer, also no lumbar drain was needed, therefore there has been no talk of the need for a shunt! So that is all great news. The MRI showed that they got 90-95% which was just what was planned. They felt they could have gotten more of it, but that would have compromised the nasal passages and per plan they took the conservative approach. She would have most definitely needed a trache so this was definitely the right choice. If the Meningioma that's left grows, they could radiate but even so we know what it is now and that's the great news.

But wait! There's more!...

I went to give her a kiss and she smiled and said "I smell your minty Tic-tac" That is such a great blessing, Endonasal was almost certain she'd lose half if not all of her smell.

Through the pain she has most definitely seen God's work in all this and He has delivered her.
